Nora Maguire
Nora Maguire has spent over 15 years successfully persuading the public to act. From working on Sport England’s ground-breaking campaign ‘This Girl Can’ as their Senior Media Manager to leading multi-award winning campaigns for Historic England, Nora is proof that arm’s length government comms can pack a punch and deliver real and sustained behavioural change.
More recently, Nora has led the communication for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust, heading up its multi-award-winning ‘Life-saving Drugs Now’ campaign which successfully lobbied to get a new CF drugs available on the NHS, ending a four-year deadlock. Previously, Nora has had senior media roles in both the Irish and British governments, including managing the media for the Irish President Michael D Higgins in his bid to become president of Ireland.
Nora is passionate about finding creative low- cost ways to reach and engage new audiences, galvanising them into action.
