Rachel Royall is an experienced Board level communications and engagement director.
Previously, Rachel was the Director of Communications and Marketing at Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust, where as a member of their executive team she supported the organisation out of special measures. She has led communications and engagement in complex organisations at a national and local level, including the NHS, the Cabinet Office, Department of Health and local authority.
Rachel is an advocate of implementing communication and engagement strategies for organisations that help drive culture change, leading to enhanced organisational performance and improved reputation. She is passionate about promoting communication excellence and has led the way in developing the communications profession across the public sector by promoting and improving access to communications qualifications, learning and development.
Graduating from Kings College London with a degree in Theology, Rachel has an MA in Public Communication, a Diploma in Strategic Communication and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations and the Institute of Internal Communications. Follow her on twitter @RachRoyall
