Kimberley has more than nine years’ experience as a communications professional. Prior to joining Shelter, Kimberley worked for the British Association of Dermatologists (BAD) in a small communications team that incorporated media, public affairs, and campaigns. While at the BAD, Kimberley managed the UK’s largest skin cancer awareness campaign, and was part of the successful lobby to ban sunbed use for under 18’s. In her current post as a media manager, Kimberley is responsible for the day to day running of a busy press office and is also the strategic media lead on several of Shelter’s key business areas. She has a passion for creative storytelling, and has developed numerous cutting-edge media strategies in her time, leading to the 2018 PRCA award for the ‘Best Use of Video in a Campaign’ and the prestigious 2018 PR Week ‘In House Team of Year’.
