Biography

Eleanor leads the internal and external communications functions for Experian in the UK and EMEA regions. She joined Experian in 2016 from Visa Europe, where she led innovation and technology communications for six years, including work on Visa’s sponsorship of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Before moving in-house she spent a decade agency-side, latterly as a Director at Hotwire PR.

She is a passionate advocate of mental health in the work place, and has personal experience of its challenges, having dealt with depression on and off for around twenty years.

In 2018 Experian shared its commitment to mental health by signing the ‘Time To Change Pledge’, joining 836 other organisations committed to putting an end to the stigma attached to mental health issues. The team used Eleanor’s story, among others, to illustrate the importance of the programme inside the business. So far, following the pledge made in September, Experian has signed up 56 mental health champions around the business and trained 20 new mental health first aiders. It continues to be one of the key pillars of the organisation’s employee wellbeing strategy.
