David is a lawyer and reputation management specialist.
He leads Edelman’s Litigation & Legal Affairs practice which specialises in managing clients’ reputations borne out of legal issues, both those played out in the courtroom and private non-litigious matters. David also advises a standing roster of clients more broadly on their crisis communications and mission critical issues.
The organisations that regard David as a trusted advisor include Rothschild, PwC, Diageo, Lagardère, World Sport Group, Asda, Reignwood Group, Wentworth Club, Virgin Atlantic, L Brands, The Bataclan and International Crisis Group.
Prior to joining Edelman, David spent eight years as a transactional corporate M&A lawyer at international law firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer. During that time, David was embedded at the London Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games (LOCOG) for a year, advising LOCOG’s board and key stakeholders on several crises and sensitive issues, including the body’s liquidation, in collaboration with the press relations team and other professional services firms. David is also one of Edelmen’s legal counsels.
