WE Communications Breakfast Seminar:
What does the smart home revolution mean for branded content?
The rise of smart home technology has created a radical shift in how consumers buy and interact with brands. Today, arguably, consumers have a closer relationship with their in-home devices than they do with brands. Voice-activated smart home devices have created transactional relationships between consumers and commodities vs. value-based relationships with consumers and brands.
Whilst smart home technology has enabled everyday tasks to become simpler, quicker and more convenient; it has simultaneously endangered brands and branded content in the home.
WE Communications will draw on their Brands in Motion research, highlighting the key findings on consumer affiliation with computing devices and smart home technology and the gaps that companies need to bridge in this area. Speakers will explore the need for brands to integrate AI and machine learning into their products and services in order to remain relevant, what smart home technology means for PR’s, marketers and communicators, how brands can effectively use this channel and what the future smart home will look like as this technology continues to develop.
This session is available to in-house delegates only and has limited availability. Please register your interest when you book your PR360 ticket.
