Practical talk and Q&A: Communicating your gender pay gap – the importance of PR’s involvement during the planning stage

The gender pay reporting legislation will require businesses with over 250 employees to publish their gender pay gap every year. The deadline to report is 4th April 2018.

CYBG published their gender pay gap on 19th December, with a pay gap of 37%. As part of its wider inclusion strategy, the Bank is working hard to build strong female representation at all levels and has committed to a bi-annual Equal Pay Audit. The communications department will have its work cut out to ensure staff stay engaged and that the Banks reputation is upheld.

In this session, Anthony and Kate will outline the steps they have taken to develop their corporate communications strategy and how they are aligning HR and communications departments to ensure they have a consistent message. Attendees will leave with a deeper understanding of how to implement an internal and external comms strategy to ensure that you are on the right side of the press in 2019.
